Beth believes in the inherent capacity of every individual to move toward healing, balance, and well-being. Her approach to counseling is holistic, person-centered, and trauma-informed, honoring each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. As an integrative therapist, she draws from a variety of evidence-based and experiential modalities, tailoring treatment to meet the individual needs of each client.
Central to Beth’s work is a deep respect for client autonomy. She offers unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuine curiosity, creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and emotionally safe. By fostering trust and security within the therapeutic relationship, she supports clients in exploring their inner experiences, developing self-awareness, and cultivating meaningful change.
Beth’s practice is grounded in somatic awareness and the understanding that the mind and body are deeply interconnected. She helps clients develop greater awareness of their internal experiences, supporting healing on emotional, cognitive, and physiological levels.
As a Registered Art Therapist–Provisional (ATR-P), Beth specializes in Art Therapy, utilizing creative expression as a pathway for insight, healing, and personal growth. Art therapy can help clients access emotions, memories, and experiences that may be difficult to express through words alone. By engaging the creative process, clients can explore their inner worlds, process trauma, strengthen self-understanding, and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others. This approach is particularly beneficial for individuals who resonate with nonverbal forms of expression and embodied healing.
Beth is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHC-A) in Washington State. She holds a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling, as well as degrees in Sociology and Fine Arts. With more than 15 years of experience teaching process-based art, she brings a unique blend of creativity, compassion, and clinical insight to her work.
Drawing from her background in youth development, arts education, and community building, Beth creates an inclusive and supportive space where clients can explore identity, strengthen relationships, build emotional awareness, and reconnect with their innate resilience. She completed her clinical internship at Beautiful Autism under the supervision of Dr. Raman Basanti, where she received specialized training in neurodivergent-affirming care, trauma-informed practice, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and culturally responsive therapeutic interventions. Her graduate training at Southwestern College, NM, emphasized integrative, trauma-informed, and holistic approaches to mental health, blending clinical counseling skills with creative expression, somatic awareness, and personal transformation.
