Chantel Buss
As an intern therapist practicing under the supervision of a licensed clinician, I work with children (ages 6+), teens, adults, and couples who are navigating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. I have a special focus on anxiety, depression, and eating disorders, while also supporting clients managing other mental health concerns. I strive to foster a therapeutic relationship that feels safe and affirming, whether you're looking for relief, clarity, or change, I'm here to offer support and walk alongside you in your healing journey.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for each person’s unique path. I believe that healing and growth are deeply personal and rarely linear. Together, we create space for both progress and setbacks, recognizing that lasting change often includes both. I meet my clients exactly where they are, whether they're in crisis, feeling stuck, or just beginning to explore what’s been holding them back.
I integrate several evidence-based approaches into my work, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Person-Centered Therapy. These modalities help clients build insight, identify values, regulate emotions, and develop practical tools for managing everyday stressors. For some, therapy may involve learning how to sit with discomfort rather than avoid it; for others, it may mean strengthening their voice, setting boundaries, or reconnecting with what matters most. I integrate other therapeutic tools to meet each client’s unique needs, because I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all.
I approach therapy as a collaborative journey, where my role is to support, challenge, and guide, always with empathy and curiosity. Whether we’re exploring long-standing patterns or navigating a specific concern, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered. I believe therapy is a space where healing and growth can unfold through authentic connection. Therapy is a space for growth, reflection, and real change and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I'm here to meet you where you are and support you every step of the way with compassion, honesty, and care.
