Leanne Graybill, LMHCA
Leanne grew up in Pennsylvania, where she spent her early years, completed her undergraduate studies at Shippensburg University, and began her professional journey as a social worker, supporting pregnant women from diverse backgrounds as they prepared for the arrival of their babies.
She later transitioned into education in Psychology and Social Emotional Learning, a shift that opened the door to her first international experiences. She spent 20+ years in Spain, China and Brazil, and it was during this time that she developed a deep appreciation for working across cultures and worldviews. While living overseas, Leanne also worked in crisis intervention and suicide prevention, supporting individuals navigating complex emotional and cultural landscapes. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
Leanne completed her first postgraduate degree in Intercultural Studies at the University of Barcelona. She later earned another Masters degree in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Palo Alto University in California.
Leanne works with both individuals and relationships, including queer and polyamorous dynamics, and her practices are kink informed. Her work often centers on helping clients understand and shift relational patterns, strengthen communication, navigate sexual issues, and make sense of challenging life circumstances. Her therapeutic approach is eclectic and integrative. She draws from humanistic and existential perspectives, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic work, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She places a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, viewing it as the foundation for safety, exploration, and meaningful change.
