Iris Three Irons, LMHCA

As an Indigenous therapist from the Apsáalooke and Oglala Lakota tribes, my cultural background and upbringing have shaped my approach to therapy and my passion for providing culturally responsive care. I recognize the ways culture, community, identity, and generational experiences can influence mental health and well-being. I strive to create a space where each client's individual background and experiences are understood as part of the bigger picture.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity and life transitions, relationship concerns, grief, stress, and emotional regulation. I enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving them, and develop practical skills to navigate challenges with confidence.

My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe in meeting clients where they are while also gently challenging them toward growth. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT), and person-centered approaches, tailoring therapy to each client’s individual needs and goals.
